Hurricanes and Rainbows

They say there is a rainbow after the hurricane. Think the rainbow is coming out now...Danny's cancer is in remission..(can't they just say it's gone?) We figured as much, but good to hear anyway. He is feeling stronger everyday..

I have been working on a blog/website for my business..harder than it sounds. Doesn't everyone want to have their child's nursery and kid's rooms designed?? Having lots of fun doing it, learning as I go..

Lots of job hunting..thinking perhaps a new job should be...I don't know...near a Margaritaville Restaurant?? heee heeee!(just teasing)

Thank you to everyone who has prayed with us through this and who has supported us. I could never express how thankful we are.

Ohhh, nothing more lovely to hear than a baby's laugh! Even better when he's your baby!

Almost...

Not much here..Danny has PET scan tomorrow, we are very optimistic..weighing a little heavy on our minds though. Lots of job hunting going on too.

Weather is changing, you know you've been in the North too long, when 50 degrees sends the kids outside whooping and hollering.

Noah is 18 weeks..can't believe it! This morning, he thought it was so cool to fling a bowl of Cheerios across the room, laughed so hard! It was an accident of course.

Focusing a lot on cooking, baking and the ingredients in everything. Still can't believe the junk they pass of as food. I made coconut blueberry pancakes for the kids yesterday..(not Noah) tastes better than it sounds. Let me know if you want the recipe ;-) Noah loves organic bananas.

Noah does NOT however, like sweet potatoes!!

That's it for today..need to clean and take Noah on walk..

A Bug Collection DVD Review

Hermie and Friends: A Bug Collection, by Max Lucado
including Milo the Mantis Who Wouldn't Pray, Buzby and the Grumble Bees, and Hailey & Bailey's Silly Fight. Stories about praying, behaving and getting along. All three stories have excellent sound effects, music and animation; the voice overs are funny and full of character.

My favorite story in the bunch was Milo and Mantis Who Wouldn't Pray...or should I say didn't know HOW to pray..Milo's snack shack is blown away in a wind storm, and Milo's friends suggest he talk to God about it. Milo thinking he is far too small and insignificant to be noticed by God...comes up with far fetched and quite amusing ideas to get God's attention. All the while, missing the "signs" God is sending him. Milo doesn't get what he wanted in the way he expected...but, received more than what he actually needed.

I think I got just as much out of these stories than the kids did. I would recommend for ages 2 and up. They are lots of fun, without being "preachy"

I received this set for free, in exchange for my honest review from BookSneeze.

Noah is 16 weeks today!!

Noah is 16 weeks today! He amazes us constantly, he's so happy and well adjusted. Going to be an early talker..big surprise..as we are all big on verbal communication, LOL.

Danny went to Dr. yesterday..getting his blood regulated before he goes for a scan..

I am getting some since of routine and schedule back..continuing my research on foods, and now child vaccines. I refuse to take other people word for these most important things. Not much for following the "crowd".

Also, working lots on my design..getting a blog ready..stay tuned! ;-)

Have a lovely week everyone...Spring is almost here.
